Abstrak


Masyarakat Madura sangatlah unik dimata nasional maupun internasional. Banyak sekali penelitian tentang masyarakat Madura yang dilakukan oleh pakar internasional. Keadaan masyarakat Madura yang begitu unik menurut sudut pandang mereka itulah yang menjadi alasan kenapa mereka sangat tertarik sekali meneliti Madura (masyarakatnya). Salah satu keunikannya yaitu terkait dengan cara pandang masyarakat Madura dalam memaknai simbol yaitu warna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan memaparkan tentang identitas masyarakat Madura melalui simbol warna, dimana mereka dikenal sebagai masyarakat yang tidak mengenali salah satu simbol warna secara umum. Metode analisis deskriptif akan dilakukan dalam menjelaskan data-data yang diperoleh oleh peneliti. Obeservasi dan tanya jawab akan menjadi bagian dari penelitian ini. Adapun hasil akhir dari artikel ini yaitu untuk memahami sudut pandang masyarakat Madura dalam memaknai simbol warna.

Beliau merupakan salah satu dosen di Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris yang sangat tertarik dalam bidang linguistic terapan. Menyelesaikan S1 dalam bidang pendidikan Bahasa Inggris di STKIP PGRI Bangkalan kemudian melanjutkan S2 pada bidang yang sama di UNS Surakarta. Selain sebagai Dosen, sekarang beliau juga sebagai founder dari Mentari Foundation yang terfokus pada bidang pendidikan, pelatihan, dan sosial.

The findings from this report measure that most of students had difficulties in the correct sound symbol, stress, rhythm, and intonation. More specifically, the results showed that the difficulties affected by many factors such as lack of practicing, listening, imitating, and teaching learning process by the lecturer causes the students felt bored because the teaching learning process seemed to be monotonous. These findings suggest that phonemic chart is one of solution in solving the problem of students’ pronunciation. ENGLISH MORPHOLOGY & SYNTAX

Abstract Morphology is the part of linguistics that deals with the study or words, the structure, and the meaning. As morphology is concerned with word forms it is something to phonology (which describes how words are pronounced), it is also related to lexical studies as the patterns examined by morphology are used to create new words.Furthermore, it is also linked with semantics as it deals with the meanings of words.
